Obama Clock

I wish I was technologically proficient but I am not. I want to download the new Obama clock so I can keep up with how much longer this fool has in office. I am about to write a check to Rick Perry. I am sick to death of these ivy league (yes it's not capitalized on purpose) fools running our nation. Wonder if old Ed Kaiser is going to vote for his fellow alum from Texas A & M. I doubt he will since he was the guy who kicked me to the curb for saying I wouldn't walk across the street to see Jimmy Buffett.

The hatred of the left

I have a friend from grad school who posted on someone's FB page and of course it showed up on mine. Well I looked at this idiot's blog www.thepoliticalmom.com and it was nothing but a pathetic attack on Christians and Republicans. It oozed with hatred and I've thought about commenting on it especially since my friend said "love it" on her FB response. I wonder if she really loves it or not or being kind. Ridiculous.
Anyway, it appears that the Messiah has yet another illegal alien running around MA. Why don't the Obama's take care of their own? Never mind it's the taxpayers responsibility.

John Paul

I feel so bad for John Paul. Across the street the bullies are all playing together and since the windows are open, he can hear them having fun. I am not about to send him over there to play though. Then while getting the mail, I saw the O'Brien's going to the pool with someone. They never called and asked if John Paul could go but they did take Natalie. Of course I'm still po'd at them about this weekend but why they couldn't call him, I don't know. I emailed little Logan's mother but she sent back a response that pretty much told me she doesn't want her Logan playing with him. Is he really that demonic?

I wonder what it would have been like to live 150 years ago

This is the 150th Anniversary of the start of the Civil War. I'm watching a special on the PWC channel special about the Brentsville Courthouse and Jail. I wonder what it would have been like to live during that time. My great-great-great grandfather fought in the Civil War from AL. He did not want to go, he ran away and was in jail when the war ended. My father's family was wealthy enough to send others in their stead because they did not want to go fight.
I have not been out there but I think I should go. We have so much history near our home and in fact I traveled from FL with my parents years ago to visit the Battlefield in Manassas. I haven't been back since. Funny how things that are close we never bother to see but things that are far we do.

Not to beat a dead horse but this is nuts

If given a choice of two dates for a party and you pick one of those dates because you have an event during the week before, wouldn't you think you would make sure that you were clear for the date you said you would make it? I cannot help that I am soooo annoyed but I am. I hate that idiot anyway. You would also think that if one was given a summons at the previous years debacle that one would stay far away from it again. Nothing good comes from going to a Jimmy Buffet concert.

Why does everyone think Jimmy Buffet is so great?

I have a feeling that my wine party that was supposed to be 16 will be 6 if I am lucky. Let's see, I've spend a lot of money getting to the correct number of plates, silverware, crystal and platters and now thanks to that idiot Jimmy Buffet, every one is cancelling. I do not understand and I will never understand why people think he's so great. He has stupid songs, he's a freaking democrat who makes no bones about enjoying the fact that stupid republicans spend their money on him and he gives it to the dimwits. I just don't know. I'm a little pissed because I've spent a lot of money. I guess I can always sue because I relied to my detriment but I'm not going to do that. I just wonder how many people will show up? That's fine though it will save me money on the dinner.

So what to think

Sometimes I cannot believe I will soon be 47 years old. I don't believe it. Sometimes I think I'm still 8 years old and I'm dreading summer coming and spending it at the Sherwood Club; being dropped off at 10:00 with my brother with enough money for lunch and a pop or two, knowing that I have to try to get one of the light colored pallets for my towel, listening to WLS and the Eagles "One of the these Nights", Paul McCartney & Wings "Band on the Run", Hues Corp. "Rock the Boat", etc. Summers at the Sherwood Club with people I absolutely could not stand and waiting until 4:oo when we'd get picked up. Everyday the same thing until school started again and the hell of St. Michael's would await. God, I hated Schererville, IN.

Twenty-five years

It is sometimes hard to believe that 25 years ago we were just moving to FL and on the day that mom & I both failed the driving test, the Challenger blew up. That was very shocking. It was also my parent's 30th anniversary. It had been 5 years since we were at Teibel's and now we were living in FL.
I'm not sure if it's still up there but they had a portrait of the Challenger pilot in the O-Club. One of the pilot's I used to date would always remark that it sure didn't take his wife long to remarry and how disgusted he was with that.
It's also been nearly 8 years since Discovery blew up. My poor Mary Catherine was on her way, as I began going into labor that night, yet I didn't know what troubles awaited when she would land early in the morning on February 3, 2003.
Twenty five years is a long time. At least we had a fabulous President then.

Last year it rained so no one came but this year-one hour to see Santa at Chick Fil A. Really? Guess there are a lot of other cheap people out there. Us being one of them.
Still waiting on orders or retirement paperwork to go through. I wish things would get settled.

First snow flurries of the year

Well all kinds of excitement with the ladies on FB and the Discovery boards about the "preview" of next seasons "Deadliest Catch". You'd think they were giving away a million dollars the way some of them are acting.
Kris had tickets to that Captain's Show in Milwaukee. Now it's been "postponed" until May. Wonder why? I don't really know what to think but I do know she's po'd.
I want to know how those TB moderators get to do "stuff" with the Hillstrands. Must be nice.
I also see where old Barry showed up in Afghanistan today. How nice. Yes, he says-he knows the heartache and stress, et al. of those deployed and those left at home to celebrate Christmas without their loved one. Really? You and Michelle the Belle-you know this first hand? Enlighten me because I want to know how you know this you GD fool. A surprise trip-indeed. Bad job news so he takes his sorry ass over to a war zone and makes those Soldiers sit in some damn auditorium for three hours while they wait for him to show up in some damn bomber jacket. Yeah, right. I wouldn't walk across the street to see that man.

So Keith got a ticket too bad the fine wasn't bigger

Keith got a ticket for not posting his triangular shaped Fish & Game sticker affixed to the Wizie. Wow, just $110 fine though. I was hoping for a 110K fine. I cannot stand that SOB. It is my hope that the extremely fine Johnathan Hillstrand turned him in but one can only hope.
Speaking of the aforementioned Cpt. Johnathan it appears that someone has spent an entire weekend with him yet did not engage in any activities with him and took him to the airport but does not keep in touch with him but her friends do. That is quite strange. I would have slept with him. There would have been no question about it and my friends would not be keeping in touch with him, I would be. Hell, if I were to meet him, I'd sleep with him and I'm a married woman. It is much easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Just ask my husband.
Looks like if someone's retirement paperwork does not get processed soon, he will be returning to Afghanistan pronto. I'm a bit torn. I'm worried that he won't be able to get a job even though everyone says he will have no trouble but I don't want him to deploy again either.
Well, watched Sarah Palin's show from Homer. No Time Bandit though.

Some Deadliest Catch News

Well, whatever is going on with the Cornelia Marie-they're are done fishing for this season. I don't think it was too profitable either. They didn't even fish Red King Crab, they fished Blue and they weren't out long at all. I wonder what is going on there. I don't think they're even going out in January for the opilio season so I wonder where that puts the Harris boys and their crew.
The Time Bandit has completed their Red King Quota early once again and are already home, wherever that is. I'm finding some pretty interesting things out about those Hillstrand boys. Anyway, if I was single, but I'm not. I'm finding these things out from other people but while it's interesting, it's also not surprising. Mid-life crisis I guess.
I cannot believe it is already the middle of November. Where does the time go to?

Plantey Party

We won two of the fifty tickets to the Chris Plante party on Tuesday. Hooray! Funny thing is most of the Plantey friends won too! I wonder if it was fixed? Anyway, should be fun. Just hope the Republicans win big!

What will happen on Tuesday?

It is election day on Tuesday and I wonder what will happen. Will the democraps remain in power-God I hope not or will the Republicans take control of one or both houses of Congress. I am somewhat concerned though because when they took over in 1994, we wound up with a second term of Slick Willie. I'm afraid we'll wind up with another term of our boy wonder (sarc) president.

I'm annoyed

I'm annoyed at the Hillstrand's and their 7K fishing trip. I think a lot of their fans are getting po'd too. This is for the powerboat racing gang I believe, not for the normal fans. I'm debating if I'd see one of the captain shows. Why do I let such silliness bother me?
I'm also annoyed that that witch Joy Behar. She's the foulest person in the world. A "famous Delta Zeta", makes me want to turn in the DZ badge.
